Position Title: Purchasing Manager
Job Location: In Stock Today Cabinets LLC, 2817 Dorr Ave., Suite B, Fairfax, VA 22031
Position Duties & Requirements:
Direct and manage purchasing operations and associated contractual matters relating to product purchases: Evaluate potential suppliers, analyzing technical data and cost information. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers and prepare bidding proposals, purchasing agreements and other contract documents; manage dependable vendor relationships; act as liaison between logistics partners and third party freight payment providers; resolve freight bill audits/discrepancies. Prepare monthly cash-flow forecasts, budget and cost estimates. Analyze budget vs. actual costs and provide cost savings measures. Track all shipments to ensure prompt delivery to the correct destination. Examine various documents including invoices, bills of lading, and insurance. Maintain purchasing records. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field + 2 years of experience in a purchasing management position including experience purchasing cabinets and accessory items for use in kitchen/bath design/remodeling. Note: Experiences may be concurrent.
